I want to get into doing Chili Cookoffs and have been keeping an eye out for a decent burner setup and this popped up on CL yesterday.
Camp Chef Tahoe 3 with the optional shelf rack, tool holder, RV hose and a propane tank. Fires right up, good shape (a little rust on the legs which I bead blasted off) $30!

I know...I SUCK!

I did a few Chili contest in a different life (pre-BBQ). Have fun! BTW - Will it be ICS or local?

Ps - The picture at left was taken the first year we entered a local contest. Got skunked. 2 years later we won, woo hoo!

Its all new to me, I did a little comp with a chili contest and I was about the only one not cooking it, but sampled some great tasting bowls of red and the chiliheads seemed like a goodtime group (and packed a lot less equipment)!
A class is coming up next month and I see another Brethren will be there.
The Puget Pod of CASI is the organization here.
