Planning on cooking up my first chuck roast for Superbowl. How long do you let it rest after the cook? 8 lbs Chuckie , I'm planning on putting it in the smoker at 12:00 am pit temp of 240 and Pan it up at a internal temp of 160, then cook it till it probs like butter. I'm hoping to have it finished by 1pm Super Bowl Sunday. Am I on the right path?

I usually cook mine at about 250-260, and it takes roughly only about 1 hr / lb, give or take. 240, perhaps an hour and 10 minutes, so you're looking at about 9 to 9.5 hours, IF that long.

Yes, you're on the right path.

Yep, seems about right. As long as you give it an hour to rest, you will be fine. More is good too. Some chuckies can be stubborn, but, since you are panning, I gotta believe it will work out fine.
