Son came over, daughter & son in law came down from Minneapolis.

I usually try a different rub on the roast each year, this year was Sucklebusters 1836. The Jewels already separated the bones from the roast. Snacks for later!

Onto the Big Joe with a couple chunks of post oak and let cruise at around 250.

Nice spread Andy. I bought 4 rib roasts this year and am saving the bones to smoke all at once.

Love the inclusion of the lobster tail. I'd like four of those on my plate, please.

It's pretty good, brought it back from a recent trip to Houston. Have used a bunch of different ones over the years, Meatheads cow crust, Peppered Cow, 407BBQ, PorkMafia, QSalt, plain ol S&P...

Looks great, I smoked a 6lbser on the kettle with the sb1836 with hickory bark, we really liked it, I see some other spices on your maybe?
