Never combined green chile with mac and cheese, but I don't know why not!
 
Looks great Jeanie. I am going to need to try making my own Mac n Cheese one day, and I definitely add some chiles to it. Great looking beef rib too!

Did I read it correctly: You slathered the ribs with bacon drippings? Dayuuum.....

I am trying to make a less-labor intensive mac and cheese, so I will study your recipe this weekend.

Like gtr said, hatches should be in season just in time for the Bash. I normally bring mac and cheese. I have been tweaking the recipe to add bacon and a hint of bleu.

I'm gonna have to add the hatches if only for a demonstration dish....

Great cook, and your SoCal brethren are praying that something changes.....
