Roadshows usually happen from mid-August into September for the non-west/southwestern states. You can reserve boxes (a LOT of chiles) or buy smaller quantities day of the sale if they don't sell out. There's a big rotisserie that roasts the peppers while you wait. It's always a fun grocery trip.
