Chicken on the Bronco

The Bronco got fired up this morning with some post oak lump and a couple chunks of cherry to cook some chicken thighs. Half got hit with Oak Ridge BBQ Secret Weapon and the rest got AlbuKirky Green Chile rub.

Pulled off around 180 IT

Though this chicken was made to get pulled and bagged for future meals, the temptation was too great. One of the small Secret Weapons ended up pulled and folded up in a tortilla with some refried black beans and cheese, with a little green salsa.

Nice looking bird! Is that rig brand new or how is your grate so clean?

It's only the 2nd cook using the grate - and the 6th cook overall on the Bronco. The other 4 have all been "hanging" cooks. I'm really happy with this cooker.
