I'll be in Carmel, Indiana next week. Any good BBQ places to seek out while I'm there?

It's been a while sine I was there, but I don't remember any.

How do you feel about sushi? One of my favorite sushi places is close to Carmel

Lookin' at my Garmin, there are a lot of Q' joints in Indianapolis....not too far away from the hotel I'll be at.

Dick's Bodacious BBQ sponsored a KCBS event 2 times in Carmel/Nobelsville.

Not bad stuff.

Austin National used to be a great pit builder there, but closed up last year.

And although not BBQ like requested, Shapiro's deli opened a Carmel location.

The downtown location is pretty famous for all the deli cuts and goodies, especially corned beef and cheese cake

Definitely worth a look! I'm there all week so lots of time to try good eateries.
