The California BBQ Association raises money throughout the year by conducting various BBQ events and classes. 100%of the proceeds the CBBQA realizes go to California Children's Charities.
Two new BBQ classes to be conducted March 5 & 6, 2011 in Hollister, CA. Saturday will lead off with the California BBQ Association’s annual “Introduction to Authentic BBQ Class” with the backyard pitmaster in mind. $149 for CBBQA members. Sunday the CBBQA will offer an advanced pitmaster class with its “Competition BBQ Class” instructed by David Bouska of Butcher BBQ. This class will be $345 for CBBQA members. Link for details- http://www.cbbqa.org/wiki/index.php?title=Competition_BBQ_Class_March_6,_2011
Non members wanting to attend can purchase a 1 year membership for $36 at CBBQA.org. Membership is an insurance requirement for each class.
