Wow, I didn't realize this pie had such a following. But it's understandable due to the slight crunch on top, the creamy custard texture and in my case, the sourdough pie crust.
The pie is almost too sweet but not to the point of being ridiculous. The lemon flavor shines through, reminding me somewhat of a lemon bar but not as firm.
I had a chilled slice after dinner and I think it was better today than yesterday.
This is definitely on my make again list.
