SanB, i love any and all Simply Marvelous products and used them in competition when i could compete and they are all my family and i use even now. Any of them work well on pork butts, especially if you add a little Season-all. The three rubs you mentioned work really well in combination, too. You could layer all three on one butt...that will taste great.,.however, if youve never tried them, i would try one at a time, starting with Spicy Apple and then cook teo more butts - each with one of the others...and thena fouth, with them all. Dang, i must be hungry. LOL. The main thing is not to sweat it, whichever route you go, your pork will be Simply Marvelous.
I homestly habe never used any of those on brisket. I use Simply Marvelous Peppererd Cow. If i dont have that, i use Simply Marvelous Sweet & Spicy. I use S.M. Season-all on every brisket, as a second layer. HOWEVER, i, personally, think any of the ones you have will work well.
Enjoy nd please let us know how the butt and brisket turn out. Post pics if ya can.
