With the rising cost of food over here I needed to find a way to buy in bulk and we don't have a Cost-co etc near by so remembering the lil lady that works at he local curry house made me an offer a few months ago I took her up on it.

We scored a 25 kilo (55 lbs) box of Halal chicken breast for 30 bucks. Got the sucker home, opened it up and packaged into freezer bags of three for late use. These are some very nice thick breast but they are skinless. Looks like I'll have to cook them hotter and faster on the grill or break out the water pan build for the UDS.:icon_cool

Did you see the pounded breast with honey mustard, buckboard bacon, ortega chile, and provolone? Big hit at my house.

Ojhhhhhhhhh SNAP! That is now number one on the list! Thanks Norco.

I used to get 40# box like that at the local pilgrims pride dictribution center. Seems like they were 99¢/lb. Last time I went they wanted $3/lb. No Way!

We just stock up when the local grocery chains have a 67¢/lb sale. If they are more than a buck a pound we pass and wait for the sale.

Pornd them and roll with sliced ham. swiss cheese and glazed with honey mustard. Pix on work PC, sorry!

Also great for fajitas!

Get after it Third Eye.

Now I need to find some honey mustard but chances are i'm gonna have to try and make some.
