Any UDS builders in Northern Virginia, I found a place in Manassas called Sandblast America. They blasted my barrel for $46 (1/2 hr labor). It came out great. Although, no good stories like running for a hose as huge flames leaped out of my barrel because I stuffed too much wood in or the guy at the self serve car wash cussing me out for power washing a barrel there . I'm painting and finishing up this weekend.:clap2:

Glad ya got your drum done.:thumb: What is going to be your first cook?

Just a thought... though some might find humor in your remark,
to others it would indeed be racially sensitive.

never even considered sandblasting... now i will. I have an extra food lined drum in the garage that needs cleaned out and the burn did nothing. I was dreading grinding/sanding it out. Good Idea
