bbq'ed rat!

i wasn't sure what to call these when the neighbor asked, "whatdoya got inthere?"

so i said, "bbq'ed rats"

i opened the dome of the egg and he said, "ohhh"

it's another test recipe from the rtd test kitchen.

1/4 pound sausage
roasted red pepper, 1/4"x2"
sliced shallot, 1 teaspoon
2 pieces of bacon
black pepper
dp jamaican firewalk
michigan cherry barbecue sauce, apply for last half hour

smoke at 300 indirect for 2 hours with cherry chips

serve as an appetizer

Oh my! These look wonderful! Are you going to give them a name or go with Rats?

i'm going with the rats! hahaha

they are the right size and the toothpicks are kinda like legs :eusa_clap

they sure were good. the recipe is per each rat. a pound log of bob evans sausage makes 4
