Looking at you pros for advice on how much to cook for a friend's party. He expects 30-40 people and wants ribs, pulled pork, and chicken thighs and breasts. Suggestions on how much of each to cook? There will be plenty of sides... Thanks in advance!
 
I would figure 1/4 lb per person cooked weight for the pork, so for 40 people you need 10 lbs cooked, which is 20 lbs. raw at 50% yield.

For ribs figure 1 rack for 4 people, so 10 racks.

For chicken I would plan one one thigh and one breast per person. That way no one will get ripped off :)
 
I think Ron L's numbers are good. Probably will have chicken leftover but just plan on chicken salad if there is.
