Are All Rib Racks Created Equal?

I own 3 of the Southern Steamers, excellent quality and highly recommended. All Stainless, holds 9 racks of ribs.

Have you considered rolling your ribs and standing them up on end? I've used that technique a couple of times with good results.

I have the Southern Steamers rack too. They're rather large so I cut them in half to make two smaller racks (holds 4 slabs each) to fit my cookers.

The first one I bought was so hard to clean I threw it out. Look for simplicity. The one I now use is like the one posted by Hankdad1. It is easy to clean and works fine.

any pictures of the "rolling rib skewer" mod
how do you "roll" a rack of ribs?

I don't have any pictures but the process is simple. Trim to St. Louis cut and just loosely roll them and secure with a wooden skewer.

Google "rolled ribs" and you'll come up with some pictures...

Just picked this one up at Costco last week..
