Used some bonus money to get a meat grinder and 5# stuffer.

I have one of those, and it is great and very fast. It replaced an industrial thermo for AC repair that took 15 to 20 seconds to give me a reading. Now I get a reading in about 3 seconds. I especially liked the price vs the Thermopen price.

Agree. I have never used a Thermopen but I can't imagine it being much faster or more accurate than the Thermowand. And it's about $70 cheaper!

Sounds like a cool gift. Which distillery?

I'm pretty sure it's at the Town Branch distillery in Lexington. The one owned by Alltech and makes the KY Bourbon Barrel Ale. Apparently they use the same barrels after the bourbon is done. Should be fun.
