I picked up a CG 980 GF a couple of weeks ago…. I hope the picture uploads correctly…. I gave it a face lift and a few more mods. Super nice Low and Slow Smoker and can grill and sear in a pinch…

The full upper grate was an add on purchase. They also sell half and 3/4 upper grates.

I have never been a Char-Griller fan but I had the stick burner itch again and this fit the price range I was willing to throw at it. It's actually a lot nicer then the majority of their products.

$499. Think it's exclusive to Home Depot. Fired it up to burn it in and it drafted pretty well. Hope to cook on it tomorrow. I'll post a review soon.
