Thank you for taking one for the team. That was a lot of work to go through for the result you got. Speaking of waygu, I spied some American Waygu beef ribs at HEB the other day.. they looked pretty nice, but I didn't pull the trigger.
 
I grabbed some of the ground "American" kobe from aldi a few weeks back. Not premade burgers. The texture was different but I though the burgers were quite tasty. And for 4 bucks a pound I wont feel bad making tacos out of them. I think I have a dinner plan tonight
 
Well I am not sure either way. It just seemed like burger meat to me. It was a little dry, but that is probably operator error. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it, but I don't think it is horrible either. Thirdeye bacon is good though
