Amatuer Competition Question

My cousin and I are looking into entering a Amateur Comp called Wal-Mart Backyard Boogie BBQ Contest. It is part of another comp for professionals/teams (KCBS event) in Hammond, LA in March. I cannot find any rules or regulations similar to the KCBS rules for this thing. I want to make sure we do it right. Can anyone advise on where to get these rules and regs from????

Amateur comps aren't sanctioned, so the rules are whatever the organizer wants them
to be. Ask the organizer. However, if you follow KCBS's rules you can't go wrong.
