G'Day Bruces' :becky:

At Costco a last week, I picked up this Spiral Ham. Never seen this kind of ham before in Australia. Had to ask ChicagoKP over Viber what it was and ig I should get it. Since it was half price, he said yes. So, I brought it home with the intention of smoking it for the Ham it Up TD.

Unfortunately, I missed the TD, but it's it's still worth posting!

Barossa Fine Foods is a premium smallgoods producer in Australia. They have quite a few products in Costco. It's my assumption that Costco asked them to do Spiral ham as a special Xmas product, and I'm glad they did!

Looks great right out of the bag and the glaze smelled awesome. You can see the spiral cuts here too.

I had a no peek policy on this one. Glad I did, because this was the first pic when done.

I took the glaze and ham juices, reduced them while the ham rested and the veges got crisped up in the oven.

Talk about AWESOME!

Loved the flavour and the whole idea of a spiral ham!

I hope Costco and Barossa FF do this again next year!

Cheers!

I'm glad to hear it came out good. I've bought them before but just to heat up briefly for family parties. I would be afraid it would dry out if you cooked it very long. The pictures look great, definitely not dry.
