Found this on a restaurant menu. 12 hours? Seriously??

Oops..not ribs...wings...that's what I get for posting from my phone, in the restaurant...with my wife scolding me for having my phone out.
 
So they're braised, thus cooked, THEN smoked for 12 hours. I don't think so...
 
I'm guessing that is a menu description written by someone who has no idea how the food is really prepared. If they are braised AND smoked for 12 hours, I'm guessing you would have a 'slightly' overdone wing.
 
It could describe the entire process of brining, braising, and smoking. That could reasonably take 12 hours with an overnight brine.
 
Saw a menu that said "smoked 16 hours" for baby backs one time.

I didn't order them...
