10" or 12" chef knife

Question - Is the Wusthof 10" Chef knife supposed to have ony 1 beveled edge?

When I got mine home, I washed it and used my steel on it before putting it up. Upon close examination, it only has a beveled edge on one side of the blade. The other side is straight.

Is this right or did I get a lemon?
 
If you are talking about the bevel on the back of the blade, it should be beveled on the right side where your finger would come over the back of the blade. On my old 12" Victorinox, it is actually an impression on the back of the blade. I guess that all chefs are right handed?
 
My Victorinox has a bevel on both sides, but my Henckels only has it on one side. I guess it is how they are ground during finishing. This will be my first Wusthof, so I will let you know when I get mine.
