CATEGORY DESCRIPTION - PLEASE READ:

"Dark Meat"

You must cook the leg or thigh of a bird. Chicken, Turkey, Cornish Hen, Duck, and Goose are acceptable.

An unladen European swallow is not.

Standard Throwdown rules apply.



You may submit entries that are cooked from 2/24 through 3/13.

Entry pictures must be submitted by Noon Central US Time on Monday, 3/13.

Got a late start and didn't really take enough pics for a cook thread. Work getting in the way again... :tsk:

Anyhow, Jerk Chicken thighs, rice & peas and cock of the walk coleslaw. Never had rice & peas before, good stuff!

Threw a couple thighs into the fridge on Saturday with some Spicy Walkerswood marinade. I'm always surprised how spicy it is if you let it go a while, but always pleased at how spicy it is. :p
