Second run on this little grill. 5 pounds of thighs with Yardbird. I thought about saucing but figured why mess up a good thing. Some cheddar broccoli on the side. Magnifico!

The chicken looks super! Seems like there's a ton to like about that little grill. While it's only your second cook on it, both have looked great! Really looking forward to seeing more flip-flop cooks.

That is some good lookin' chicken.

When you made the first post, I eagerly went to look for reviews and more info on that rig. I started to Jones after one but slowly realized it was not for me. The ability to knock it down flat and easily transport it is very cool. The ability to "flip every thing at once" is also very cool. But those 2 things are really all it brings to the table (a big IMO on this- I could have this totally wrong).

Keep posting your cooks- I'm willing to be persuaded into dropping some coin for one.

I'm going to get some wings soon and do a head to head challenge Vortex vs Flip Flop. I know what kind of wings to expect from the Vortex. Always spot on. The Flip Flop hasn't been wing tested yet but the thighs are amazing. It should be a great challenge.

I would expect the wings to be excellent. I'd also be interested in seeing some spatchcocked birds as well.
