Anyone with the Smobot wish they had a fan to help control temperature?

Or perhaps glad you don't have the fan?

Thank you in advance.

I have one I use on a primo that works pretty good. I have no need for a fan.

I have a BGE XL and I use the FB200, I see many owners (using non temperature controllers) adjust the temp by regulating both the top and bottom, I'm different, I only adjust the temp by the top and the bottom is always wide open. With that being said, when using the FB200 the bottom is closed except for the fan and the top is just cracked, I let the fan do the work and I have been able to control the temp + or - for 15+ hours with temp ranging from 375 to 250.. Hope it helps..

Thanks,
Greg

Curious to see the answers here.
I backed the kickstarter for the smobot and them promptly forgot about it after it arrived.
Found it after doing a basement cleanup prior to some renos and I'm thinking it might be good for those winter months. Wondering if I ought to replaces the gasket too while I'm at it...
