i am thinking about a new competition cooker. what should i get. No egg to much to move around. $1500 to spend . I am currently using a lang 84.

What are you trying to accomplish with a new cooker? The lang seems to have lots of cooking room. Are you looking for a cooker with a smaller physical footprint or more cooking room? Stickburner?

With $1500 I would think it hard to "upgrade" from the Lang84. The only possible thing I could think of would be a fleet of WSM's that would be "lower maintenance" than the Lang.

Since you have such a great offset, I'd go vertical. Either a Backwoods or a WSM armada.
