Default First Smoke: BBQ Chicken

Hello,

I tried my first smoke last night. I used the simple recipe from VWB http://virtualweberbullet.com/chicken6.html. Instead of bbq sauce, I put a little butter on the skin for the last 15 minutes or so. I was very happy with my first smoke; the chicken was delicious and I was very surprised at how juicy the chicken was. Also did a little grilled romaine lettuce. I'm looking forward to some more smokes.

I am planning for some ribs next weekend (hopefully with some higher quality pics). I pulled the leftover chicken, toasted some sourdough melted some Parmesan and made sandwiches.

Good looking bird! Congrats on #1. You'll be teaching others here before you know it. :)
