My name is Matt, and I'm in a suburb of Detroit (although, if you know Detroit, everything in a 50 mile radius is considered a Detroit suburb!)
I've never smoked before, but I love grilling and I've done slow cooks in the oven. But man, they're just not the same. A great guy who also belongs to this forum built a UBS for me as a gift, and I can't wait to use it. I'll be reading everything here I can, and would be happy to hear any advice of outstanding recipes, although I probably have enough to try for this whole summer already. Can't wait!
