Hey all,

Any one here have a good method for smoking country style ribs? I just finished my UDS and I plan on firing it up today. I was gonna do a mustard slather, sprinkle with rub and smoke at 250 or so. How long do you think they should be on? I'm only doing four of them. They are cut into single ribs.

Thanks
JimC

I smoke mine at 250 degrees for 4 and 1/2 hours.
Then I glaze them w/my favorite bbq sauce thined w/sprite.
Wait 15 minutes, glaze again.
Pull and enjoy.

Depending on how thin they are I cook @ 250 until 160 internal. Rubbed of course and instead of glazing, I dunk them in a bowl of my favorite sauce, then let them cook the last 1/2 hour.

Our country style ribs in this area are at least an inch thick.

Sometimes I rub them, other times I dont.
Some days its just a bit of salt and pepper but they always get the double glaze.

If its snowing and blowing I will do them in our electric range.
They turn out fine, just no smoke flavor.
