New York and Artichoke dinner. Super simple. (pics)

Hey Folks,

I picked up 4 NY steaks at Costco last week and cooked up 2 of them tonight. Kept it super simple. Kosher salt and fresh course ground black pepper on the steaks. Just garlic, pepper and eevo on the artichokes. Cooked them direct on the kettle over some lump. The snow came back today but not enough to keep me from my grill.

I've done romaine hearts that way but never thought of using artichokes. Will have to try that next time.

Looks great! Never tried artichokes on the grill. Do you still dip the leaves & heart in melted butter like when boiling them?

Perfect dish! I like simple when having a nice steak. Steak and one other thing on the plate. Tried once, but still haven't figured out artichokes but want to try them again.
