Wandering around with a bag of matchlight, looking for a match.
Just joined the forum a couple days ago and quickly wanted to say hi.
I started a foodtruck business last year with 2 friends of mine, dedicated to bring a little "Taste of Texas" (we choose that as the name for our business) to the streets of Germany, with real wood-smoked barbecue and the outstanding level of customer service that you guys have over there. Besides obviously going to Texas (only one of us is American but not from Texas either), eating at all the wonderful places like Kreuz and Smittys and the great Franklin Barbecue in Austin I spent a fair amount of time doing my research on several threads of this forum. Especially when we set out to build our own smoker rig over here. Just great that people take the time to share their projects, knowledge and experience like they do here.
So I wanna kick this off, by thanking you guys! I have already learned a lot from the community here and now that I actually have some experience myself, I decided to join to try to give something back. Speaking of which, I just finished editing a little video series on our built, so if any of you guys are interested, you can find it on youtube following this link: https://youtu.be/xzpjCQ8_uf0
As I was warned repeatedly NOT TO ADVERTISE anything, I will just leave it at the note that you can find us on facebook and instagram if your interested to stay posted.
That being said, thanks again for having me. If you watch the video or have any questions about the barbecue landscape in Germany, please let me know! I'll do my best to answer...
