Do you guys just use Salt and Pepper, or should I go for a good rub like Smokin' Guns? I just don't want it to have a real metallic taste.

Throw a little MSG in there, but don't tell anybody. :tape: Tony Cachere's works too, it's a little salty so be careful with that. Maybe mix it with AJ and woosty and spray it on. :loco:

Clarified butter soaked cheesecloth works great. :icon_blush:

Well, it works great on boneless skinless poultry, don't know how it'd work on a UDS.

The secret to seasoning a UDS is liquid smoke.

AW man you just let everyone in on my secret! :tsk: :tsk: :tsk:

Now that it is out I'll also share my other secret, I mix Italian dressing and a 40 oz of Colt 45 with the liquid smoke then spray the inside and outside of my UDS.

That instantly gives the broke in and used smell everyone wants from their UDS.
