I've read on a couple forum posts that some use a FoodSaver to repackage meat after it's trimmed for contests. Is there any specific way that seems to work best or bags that work for the different meats? I'm heading to my first contest in a month and just got an older model for free off Craigslist so I'm new in both areas. Thanks!

Chicken and ribs go into the 11in bags and butts and brisket go into the food saver expandable bags. I used to put butts and brisket into the 2.5 gallon zip lock bags and they work great too. The food saver just guarantees no leaking a little better on those.
