Mods, I wan't sure where to put this so you can move it if need be.

Here is the close to final draft of the Big Z's Sweet Gold logo and lable.

Does anyone see anything they think needs to be tweaked before I finalize it?

Overall impression?

My first impressiion was that I would also like to try a jar.

My second impression was that the label and sauce color are so close in color that the label does not really jump out and grab you.

My third impression was that I still would really like to try a jar.

My fourth impression was that heck, I've never been a marketing person, looks good to me.

Good luck.

Hey Brother Neil,

Looks good, I agree with Steve and rthensley. Maybe a line that says what it is, and maybe something on the outline of the label to make it standout a bit more... Just thoughts, and you have a winner of a product there!!

This is just the logo part, for now.

I am planning on putting "Rich Honey Mustard Flavor with a BBQ Kick!"
on the label as well. Probably under the logo.

I have an idea to make it stand out a bit more.
I'll post it when it's done.

Thanks for the feedback!

ZBQ, a little off topic, but I just noticed you are in Chillicothe. Ever do any deer hunting?

I've hunted a couple of times at Pleasant Valley (I think that is the name of the wilderness area.).

Ok, I had him add a red outline and had him try it with and without the yellow outline.

Which do you think looks better?

I'm leaning towards the yellow and red together.

Maybe make the red a bit wider.

Any other suggestions?

I like the looks of the top one as well. Where will we be able to " Git ya zummmm" ?

To me, the red outline looks like it doesn't belong. It stands out a little too much. Red, yellow and black reminds of a German flag if it were a little heavier weight. Maybe just fatten up the black outline and drop shadows by themselves. Nice job. It's gettin there.
