Live cook: pork shoulder (tropical storm Bill)

5 hours in. Just check IT for the first time and hit 160 on the nose.
Wrapped and "sauced" with remaining injection on bottom of foil.
Applied a little honey, my rum and squeezey buttah. I'll pull it off around 180 so I can place it back on unwrapped to tack the bark up and pull it off at 195. Then off to the cooler coffin to think about it fer a while.

It really smells insain.

Hubs is on the list though...I'm out of Hendricks. :twisted:

What's the over/under on him bringing golf buddies over...hungry buddies???

They bring the sides and desert. Then clean up the kitchen.

Made me one of my favorite drinks...a GZ Cup.
If you love Hendricks and cucumber you must try. It's 2nd to the GZ Fizz.
