One of my favorite food groups!

Can’t wait to see all the tasty entries on this one

Well dang.
I just cooked up some smash brisket burgers with bacon, and something else :thumb:.

A few days early and no pics...Oh well.

Onion cheese burger with rings.

Well let's get this one started. Meat was seasoned with Worstershire, Dijon, and Carne Crosta. Pre-smash in my tortilla press. Carmelized some onion on the Blackstone before the burgers went down. Paired the burger with onion rings. I made a batter of AP flour, smoked paprika, granulated garlic, dry mustard, S&P, and soda water.
This is an entry. Please use my first image.

This is an entry. Please use the last photo for judging. Thank you.

How about a spicy Tandoori Chicken burger with Kachumber salad. Sounds tasty, right? I assure you it was delicious!

I started off with 2 chicken leg/thigh quarters that I deboned and ground. Mixed the chicken with scallion, ginger, lemon juice, paprika, cumin, cardamom, cayenne, turmeric, and S&P. They were grilled over charcoal and pecan for a little smoke.

Had to have some kind of sauce so I went with a mix of Greek yogurt, lemon juice, fresh mint, a touch of cumin, and S&P.

The Kachumber salad was cucumber, tomato, red onion, mint, lemon juice, and S&P.

Plating started with a round of garlic Naan that got a little toast on the grill, topped with a spread of the yogurt sauce, then the burger patty, topped with sliced cucumber, red onion, and fresh cilantro. Finished off with another round of garlic Naan and, of course, some more yogurt sauce.

Here's the vote thread from our first Burger Throwdown, back in 2010, when life was simpler than it is today:

https://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/showthread.php?t=83021

There's a heap of fine entries in this Throwdown - it may give some of you inspiration and ideas for entries!

wow times were different than...in the 10 day window there was 34 entries and 105 votes

I always lament how I don't do TD's anymore but never seem to do anything about it. I can't even seem to find time to vote on them anymore.
