What a Great Bash! (Pic Heavy)

Loose count between 30 - 40 folks attended. Hotch, Shelly, Jay (Ag76) and his Nephew Richard manned (and Ladyed) the pits all day. Fantastic Job!

Ron Brad62, LloydQ and QN also brought some Fantastic food! Lots of the Ladies brought desserts and sides. We had food left over. Folks took some home.

We may have to make this an annual event! :becky:

I'll try to provide a play by play of the day.

Welcome to Submarine Point:

Got there at 6:45. with Hotch and Shelly. Hotch scoping out his plan. Wind coming in from the NNW about 20 mph. What's the 1st thing you do? Get the fire rolling!:

Let us not forget our Freedoms we enjoy in this Country. Submarine Point is a tribute to the sailors that were lost aboard the USS Shreveport in WW2:

When are you Okies going to have one? :noidea: Much closer than Louisiana for me.

Prolly never?

As I have said before, if you boys will find a site, I'll do the rest of the planning and provide my Ole Hickory to cook on if the site has electricity.

I'm thinking a Tulsa-ish location. If that fails, see plan B below.

I can get a nice location at a huge park with a nice pavilion (capacity 100+) in case of rain, a kitchen, tables and chairs and clean restrooms in Fayetteville, Arkansas with a reservation. Just have to work far enough in advance to secure a date. The date of the event would depend upon availability of the facility.

The question to be answered: Would you boys from Oklahoma and others from far away, travel to Northwest Arkansas? Contrary to popular belief, we do have good roads and our wimmins wear shoes.

Gauntlet thrown.
