wsm controller

iQue 110 works just fine. If you want a unit with multiple meat sensors an wifi the cyberQue is a good upgrade. Both very stable.

I too am in the market for a controller. But mainly to keep temps down, not up. During the summers here, my first 100 degrees are free on my WSM 18.

I really love the Party Q that I picked up for my 18.5 WSM. Simple, self contained, and works like a champ on overnight smokes.

I have a CyberQ WiFi, it's cool and it works great. I'm kind of a geek, so all the technical stuff is fun.

I have only been using it on long cooks. On shorter cooks, like for pork ribs, a small pork butt, etc, I just don't need it. I spend more time setting up and putting away the ATC, than I do manually controlling my cooker temperature.

All the ATCs pretty much do the same thing and by all reports, work well. The more expensive ones, besides controlling your pit temperature, will also monitor your food temperature.

Good luck.
