Hey Everybody

I smoked a lot of meat over the Memorial Day Weekend - like 350 pounds!!!

I have about 80 lbs left over.

Father's Day is COMING!!

This meat will keep in freezer for 6 months!

All of it is fully smoked (cooked) and ready to HEAT - N - Eat!!!

So, here's what I have left:

1 Whole Brisket - 10lbs - $68 - Feeds 20 people
2 Pork Shoulders - 8 lbs - $54 - Feeds 10-12 people
3 Pork Spare Rib Slabs - 3.5 lbs - $23 - Feeds 4-5 people
6 Baby Back Rib Slabs - 2.5 lbs - $26 - Feeds 2-3 people

They are all frozen and wrapped and if you live in KC - let's talk about delivery.

Buying meat from a guy on Craigslist who got his cooker "cheap"?

I would rather have a tie for Father's Day then My wife our kid giving me smoked meat of Craigslist!!!

See, I am still confused by the pricing. 6 slabs of baby backs 2.5 lbs $26. Is that $26 per each 2.5lb slab?? It couldn't be 6 2.5lb slabs for $26 could it? I have never actually weighed a rack of BB's or spares but don't those weights seem a bit off too? I guess it could be a "rack" like you get in a non-bbq restaurant:

All I can think of here is the thread last week where someone accidentally left a few butts out at room temp for 17 hours. For all anyone knows, this guy could have had a similar problem and is selling off his garbage. I wouldn't trust someone on CL with my laundry, let alone my health :|
