Worst q ever and not sure why

Thanks to everyone that responded. About two months ago the charcoal got wet and to dry it out I stored it inside the house. Guess the moisture level was still to high. That would of been the only thing done differently from any of the previous times. At one point I did here the drum go "woof"....
