I've got about 13 pounds of beef ribs in the fridge for Saturday.

What's everyone else's plans for the weekend?

Couple racks of baby backs for one day, chicken wings for the other, but the forecast is rainy for me and I may punk out and use the gas grill.

Not really sure yet. I have been wanting to do a chuckie.

I started early.

Have a relatively high heat brisket going on now.

About 10 lbs. 280-300 deg. so far 4 hours in.

Foiled now the probe is at 204 in the point but it isn't butter tender yet.

Saturday night some 1'' pork chops and italian sausage stuffed peppers.. i am really looking forward to the meal since my stuffed peppers are good and these pork chops look incredible.

next night 2-3 racks of st. louie's in a sauce I recently thought up

A Boston Butt, 2 chickens and a fatty or 2.

I'll be grilling some marinated tri tip slices, hoisin marinated boneless chicken breasts and some pork tenderloin medallions.

Pork Butt for us. I just did 10 of them last weekend for a Vintage Camper Rally. Going to relax this weekend!

Beef Short Ribs were $2.63/lb at Restaurant Depot, compared to $6.99/lb at Whole Foods! I bought a 16lb cryovac, so I'll split that into four packs and freeze three. I'm just cooking for me and my wife, so 4 pounds should do it (1 for her and 3 for me :grin

The local HEB stores have SLS spares on sale for $1.99/lb, will prolly pick up a couple..

Our rain ended this morning! We finally got some measurable rain! Yea!! 1.3 inches. I am going to attempt a brisket this weekend.
