Approx 6" circle of 1/8" steel cut with my plasma, made a rebar handle and welded it on.

Seasoned as cast iron, and it lives in the smoker when not being used on the griddle. No rust issues due to the seasoning.
 
I have the 2 different lodge grill presses. Both work very good, also nice for searing steaks. You can use anything that is flat. As far as cleanup, put a piece of patty paper on the meat, then smash. No sticking, and the press is easy clean up.
 
I just cut the end off of a masonry trowel. It's heavy duty.

I put handles on cheap pans to use as steamers. You can make them any size needed.
