Weber v/s BGE

I cleaned the Weber to start the season. Splurged and got a bag of BGE lump. Did a chimney start like always. The lump will only lite the edges. The rest of it won’t burn. What’s wrong?

Hit it with a propane torch. The damn stuff won’t burn. :mad2:

If I recall, BGE lump is just repackaged RO. I use a wax Weber fire starter and it lights right up. It won't get grey all over like briquettes.
