Good stuff folks, thanks for all the replies..... Now I gotta figure out if I can live with the open ash pan :decision:

There are some people who use a metal bucket. Maybe someone has a photo?

Not sure what it is really?..... has the lid holder and lid thermometer, but has the open ash pan, per pics..... Yet to see it.... Next week I hope

They were prone to rusting out where they attach, and falling off. It may have fallen off at some point, and got lost or tossed.
