Decided to fire up the smoker and throw on some chicken thighs and a brisket.
About a 9lb flat rubbed with some Blues Hog rub.
After about 8 hours in the smoker and two hours of FTC
Sliced and ready to eat...
Decided to try a couple new things for our competition chicken thighs. Trimmed, skin scraped and a bit of butter for each. Thank you Mister Bob for sharing this technique. The Blues Hog and Tennessee Red combo was great!

Wasn't to worried about presentation. More worried about flavor and tenderness. Man were these good!
All together now. Brisket, chicken, oven baked fries and grilled salad. Got the grill salad idea from Patio Daddio
