I've posted this a few times before but for a quick and easy dinner it's always worth another look. I waited til t-storms passed, then fired up the Blackstone and the Goldens'.
The Blackstone gets Red Pepper, Matchstick Carrots, Baby Bok Choy, Minced Garlic, Grated Ginger, Green Onion, the bagged Cole Slaw mix and Ground Turkey. All seasoned with Soy Sauce, Sesame Oil and Oyster Sauce -
I thought I had a picture of it all mixed together on the griddle, but this plated pic will have to do -
Meahwhile, prepping for tomorrow. A mix of garden Cherry Tomatoes, a few Plum Tomatoes, Onion and about 10 Garlic Cloves in their skins are placed in the Lodge skillet in EVOO to roast on the Goldens' and pick up some smoke -
Coming along nicely -
The garlic was beautifully roasted and easily released from the skins -
Into the Ninja with EVOO, Oregano, Cumin, S&P and Basil. Recipe calls for Cilantro but none was on hand and the garden has plenty of Basil -
Beautiful red color. Into the fridge to be used tomorrow when it's chilled -
Quick and easy dinner and an even easier Cherry Tomato Basil Pesto. I'll figure out where and how it gets used.
Thanks for checking out this post.
