I hope I did this right. Here is a couple of shots from Qball's Speck trip. The older gentleman is Bill, the WW2 vet of Quadal Canal of whom I talked. Included are photos of me in action (like a leopard stalking its kill) , calm Gulf on Last Island, Bill with his son and a large Red (the one with the hat and mustache is his son), the box of fish from day one of the trip, Bill at our shooting range strking a pose, and Bill striking a pose as the "Ancient Mariner". It was a great trip for all

Nice Red, for sure. Is that a (highly) modified SKS he's sporting in that first picture???
Right on the money. He had a ball shooting it. We stuck the bayonet on the end to give the old devil dog a more menacing appearance. You should have seen his face when I pulled out my Kimber Pro Carry 45. He must have shot 50 rounds.

The weight of the Red in the picture is unknown. These pictures were from day one. Bill boxed a much larger Red on day two and the specks were much fatter as we had move quite a bit west out to Coon Point. Unfortunately, the cameraman did not stick around for day two.

We are gonna make a another run out there on Friday.
