Too rainy to fire up the Blackstone for an outdoor made breakfast, so this was all done indoors in the oven and on the stove in my Lodge cast iron.

After making sourdough pie crust from this weekend's discard, the starter was looking pretty active this morning. What to do with it? I wanted something quick, wasn't in the mood for making a loaf of bread and didn't want to put the starter back in the fridge.

Biscuits were suddenly on this morning's breakfast menu.

These made a great breakfast sandwich with some sausage links and a fried egg -

Not a bad way to start the day!

So your not infallible after all.... them is mostly ugly biscuits, but they pry tasted fine.

Yep, not the prettiest biscuits but there's no folding over and over to get nice layers. Looking at pics of other sourdough biscuits these look on par with those.

You're right, they tasted just fine.
