I've wanted to ask this for a while. First-off--I have around 10 acres of mostly trees. A mix of mulberry , walnut , a few oaks , and tons of locust. I think mulberry is ok , oak certainly , walnut--NO--, but what about locust. I know there's very little by way of sugars and oils. But--can you smoke with it? PS , I don't have a stick burner , so I'm talking about chunks.

I have a lot of locust too. I tried it once...won't do it again. It had a weird taste.
