Ok fast question Q'n down today for fathers day had a nice breakfast Fatty this morning got a shoulder and babybacks on the smoker now im wondering about corn on the cob in husk. Im sure its been done but i would like to get a time and maybe some incite. Should i foil them and how long should they be on the UDS

Sorry this may be too late, but here is a link to a discussion a week or so ago. Here is what I do.

I have just always placed the ears right on the grill over direct heat (medium) without pre-removing the silk. Turn them a few times, the outer husk will dry out and scorch, but the inside will steam from the moistness of the kernals. Once they get hot, when you peel the husks back the silk comes off pretty easy. Just butter and season and eat!

I have found it also helps if you soak them in water for 15 to 20 minutes to, just adds moisture to steam them. Or thats my 2 cents anyway !

Enjoy,
